Recently, clients have been chatting about their sales people and sales performance. In 2003, I did extensive study into sale performance and over several years read over 1,000 articles on high value, multi-step sales performance.
Sales training is multi-billion dollar business and a lot of products available to companies focus on skills training. The theory is if we train you in skills your sales should increase. The problem is that isn’t always the case.
A lot of research has been done into what specific skills are associated with increased sales. And I cover that in my next blog.
